Can you get a roll-a-way bed in the value resorts?

Hi Catherine! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so glad that you have asked such a great question.

In the past roll away beds (or cots) were available on a first come, first serve basis and were not guaranteed. When I called and spoke with a cast member, I was told that the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels are not offering roll away beds anymore. The cast member went on to tell me that the reason is safety. They say that if there was ever an emergency they want to make sure that they have access to guest’s hotel rooms and that a roll away bed has the potential to block a door or to be in the walkway and could potentially block the exit path. If it were me however, I would still ask the cast member at check in if there are any roll away beds available, just to make sure that the information that I was given is correct. I do know that if you are traveling with a young child, they will set up a Pack n Play in your room.

I hope that you all are able to get a great night’s rest so that you have plenty of energy to play, dance, and just be kids again during the day!  Have a pixie dusted vacation!
