Can I use a rollator walker in the parks?

Hey howdy hey Fran and welcome to planDisney!

As a Physical Therapist myself, one of the big things I work with my patients with is being as mobile, safe and as independent as possible. If that comes with using an assistive device to get around, it is a tool to help maintain your independence and I am all for it! Thankfully, at Walt Disney World Resort, they as well are as accommodating and inclusive for as many populations as possible. This is true with regards to navigating the parks, their transportation services as well as their attractions. If you need your rollator for mobility, Disney has no issues with you using them throughout the resort.

To further help with planning, Walt Disney World has compiled a list of attractions that you may find helpful to consider for mobility concerns. For the most part, if you need only a rollator to get around, you will be able to access almost any attraction in the parks. If you think that you will have a difficult time with mobility or waiting in lines, I urge you to look a little more into Disney's Disability Access Service. This will allow you to minimize the time you are physically waiting in line for you and your travel party and might be something to help make your trip in June more enjoyable. You can register in advance online or at any Guest Relations area in any of the parks.

I hope this information is helpful as you continue your planning for your upcoming trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth. If you have any further questions let us know, we love talking about all things Disney!

    Happy planning,
