Can you use a roll away bed in the standard room at the animal kingdom lodge? We have 3 adults and 2 kids and we really want to stay at the lodge not at the villas.

Jambo, Robin, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I just had the pleasure of staying at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, and it was glorious! The beds are so very comfortable, so I’m sure your family will snooze louder than Pumbaa after a buggy meal. Satisfying!

For your convenience, a limited number of Roll-Away Beds are available at many Disney Resort hotels for a modest nightly fee. To request a Roll-Away Bed for your room, have your reservation number handy and contact a Disney Vacation Planning Expert at 407-939-2273 to ask that this specific request be noted on your Disney Resort hotel reservation. I’m sure that much effort will be made by the Cast Members to accommodate your needs and make sure your family rests well. You may also confirm about the Roll-Away Bed during your check-in at the Front Desk upon your arrival. If you’re using Online Resort Check-in, you can notate the reminder for the Roll-Away here, as well. I often mark my crib or Pack N’ Pay requests this way
