Can I get a roll away bed for a room at Caribbean Beach resort?

Hey there, Nicholas! Welcome to planDisney.

I was just looking at pictures of the Disney Skyliner gliding over the pastel colored buildings of Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and getting all the vacation vibes. The tropical landscaping, super fun pool, and top notch cocktail menu at this resort make it a fantastic choice for Guests; I love to return to my resort hotel room after an exciting day in the theme parks and immerse myself in that beachy, relaxing ambience.

As I understand it, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort does have a very limited supply of rollaway beds. These beds cannot be reserved in advance and are available on a first come, first served basis when you arrive at the resort. Also, not every room layout will be able to accommodate a rollaway bed for fire code reasons.

If you need to accommodate an additional person in your room at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, I recommend reserving a 5th sleeper room. These rooms have a pull-down bed which will comfortably sleep an extra child; my Mouseketeers love them because they feature hidden Disney art and really feel like a unique touch.

If you really need the space for additional people, take a look at the Family Suites at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, which sleep 6 adults, or Deluxe Villa Accommodations at Disney Vacation Club resorts. Another option is to reserve two standard rooms and request connecting rooms; connecting rooms cannot be guaranteed, but you may make this request by calling (407) 939-1936.

If you’re able to make Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort work for your group, I hope you have an amazing time. Having Disney Skyliner access is a huge bonus when staying at this resort; on a recent visit, my mom actually chose to ride the Skyliner from end to end just for fun – I think it was her favorite attraction. Not only is it a really relaxing ride with a great overhead view of Walt Disney World, but it’s a quick and easy way to get to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT and between resorts.

Nicholas, thanks for stopping by, and please come back and see us if we can answer any more questions as you plan and dream.

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
