The Haunted Mansion at Magic Kingdom Park. We received your sympathetic vibrations and are happy to be of service. I had a similar issue on another attraction at
Walt Disney World Resort this fall, and I’m happy to say my missing photo was recovered by
contacting Disney PhotoPass Service – I'm glad to share these steps with you.
First, please know that the image can only be
captured by Disney PhotoPass Service if someone in your Doom Buggy was wearing a MagicBand, MagicBand+, or had their phone’s Bluetooth technology enabled while you enjoyed this classic attraction for the photography spirits to connect with your account. Be sure everyone in your party is
linked in My Disney Experience as Family and Friends, and please double-check that you haven’t filtered out photos of Family and Friends when viewing the images in the app. The options at the top of the page are easy to miss, and I’ve also mistakenly thought I didn’t receive a photo but had simply filtered out the fun! Be sure to not select "Filter Out Family and Friends” at the top of your photo viewer.
Next, if you’re certain everything is aligned to both capture the photo and link it to your account please keep checking to see if this ghostly image will reveal itself in time. I’ve found on busy theme park days, the photos can take a bit to appear but are always worth the wait!
Finally, I encourage you to
complete this handy form on the Walt Disney World Resort website; this is how I received my missing photo. You can provide details such as the attraction, approximate time, and even upload a photo of yourself from that day so they can ensure a match. I quickly received a confirmation email of my submission and an update, as well as the missing photo loaded into my My Disney Experience app within a few days! I’m sending you positive vibrations that your photo wasn’t lost in the attic of The Haunted Mansion and that this ghostly image will follow you home!
If you have any further issues during your visit, be sure and stop by the
