Hey there, Donna! Thanks so much for bringing your question to planDisney. Helping Guests like you plan their trips to the Happiest Place on Earth brings me great joy.
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is simply gorgeous and magical. It’s such a treat when our family gets to stay there for our
Disneyland Resort vacations! I was just there last week and had the same question as you. Here is what I learned - even if there are no robes or slippers in the room when you arrive, you can call the front desk to request them. There are certain amenities that are currently not in the rooms, given COVID-19 safety protocol, however the hotel is very accommodating and it’s always a good idea to ask when you need something!
Donna, I’m not sure if you have dined at
GCH Craftsman Bar but it is one of my favorite restaurants at Disneyland Resort. It is at the hotel, poolside, and you can either make a
dining reservation in advance or use the walk-up list (which I have had pretty good luck with in recent times.) Whether you’re there day or night, the ambiance is perfect. I prefer dusk when the twinkling white lights are draped above me, while I sip a
Prickly Pear Rose, my cocktail of choice! The food is fabulous, my favorites being the Avocado Toast and the Black Truffle-charred Cauliflower Grilled Cheese Sandwich! I am getting hungry just writing this.
The
Tenaya Stone Spa at the hotel has reopened and I hear the Step In Time Foot Massage is just amazing for those aching feet after walking around the parks all day! I plan to try this on my next visit.
I hope your visit is practically perfect in every way! Please come back and see us if you have more questions, we're all EARS.
