Hi! For Riviera Deluxe Studio rooms, (1) what type of coffee filters are needed for the coffee maker (cone or flat bottom?), and (2) is there a freezer compartment in the fridge where one could freeze water? Thank you!

    Hiya, Eva!

I'm so glad you've found your way to planDisney.  Are you getting excited about your stay at Disney's Riviera Resort yet?  While I haven't gotten to experience the magic of this beautiful Resort yet, I have a visit planned for later this year and I can't wait!  With elegant and stylish details that make you feel like you've escaped for a European holiday, those beautiful, hand-cut mosaic murals, and easy access to Walt Disney World's newest way to get around, Disney Skyliner, it has all the makings for an unforgettable vacation. I can't wait for you to experience everything this gorgeous Resort has to offer –– I think you're going to love it!

As a Disney Vacation Club Resort, Disney's Riviera Resort offers more than just a lovely setting –– that's because the Deluxe Villas truly offer you a home-away-from-home when you visit Walt Disney World Resort.  In your Deluxe Studio, you'll find a traditional drip-style coffee pot, along with a selection of Joffrey's Coffee & Tea Company self-contained filter packets, along with a supply of sweeteners and creamer.  However, if you'd like to bring your own coffee along with you to enjoy, you'll want to pack flat-bottomed coffee filters to work with the coffeemaker in your room. And as someone who goes through a lot of coffee on vacation (how else would we get out the door for rope-drop, right?), I'm happy to report that if you need more coffee supplies during your stay, you can easily request more by placing a quick call to housekeeping from your room.  Your Deluxe Studio will also have a microwave and toaster in the kitchenette, along with a mini-fridge that does have a small freezer compartment.  If you need more ice, your room also has an ice bucket for you to easily grab ice from the ice machine located on your floor.

Thanks for visiting planDisney, Eva.  If you think of more planning questions as your visit to Disney's Riviera Resort approaches, I hope you'll stop by again –– my friends and I are always here to help!

    Have a Magical Day,
    Amy
