The Riviera 2 Bedroom villa are they club level service?

Hi there, Patricia - welcome to planDisney!

I'm glad you've stopped by to ask a question to our team of panelists. We love helping Guests just like you plan your very own magical Walt Disney World Resort vacations!

Disney's Riviera Resort is my favorite place to call home while visiting Walt Disney World Resort! I was fortunate enough to stay there the first week it opened, and have been many times since. The European ambiance and amazing amenities make it my first choice when deciding where to stay. The food is amazing, whether it be fine dining at Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera, an amazing poolside lunch at Bar Riva, or a quick coffee and bite at Le Petit Café! Throw in the Disney Skyliner station and amazingly appointed Guest Rooms and it's just perfection.

Or should I say almost perfection, because Club Level is not offered at the Riviera. I'm not 100% sure why, but it may have something to do with this being a Disney Vacation Club (DVC) Resort. Anyone is able to book a stay here if there is availability, but this is the only Resort at Walt Disney World Resort that is fully DVC - others have DVC wings or buildings, but their Club Level rooms are in the "regular" portions of those Resorts.

I already mentioned that I've stayed at the Riviera many times, including in a 2 Bedroom Villa, and have also recently enjoyed Club Level rooms at several other Resorts. For me, it would be a tough call and would mostly depend on what kind of vacation I'm looking to have. The 2 Bedroom Villa at Riviera is such a great place to call home, and with a full kitchen you can easily fill up your fridge with your favorite beverages and snacks to compensate for missing out on those Club Level perks. Also, most Club Level rooms available at other Resorts will be traditional rooms rather than suites (though there are some!), meaning that if you opted for another Resort but still needed the same number of beds you would likely be booking two separate rooms.

Here's my take - if you haven't yet had the pleasure of staying at the Riviera, I strongly recommend that you try it out, despite the lack of Club Level amenities. It might just surprise you! I hope this information has been helpful, but please feel free to reach out to me with any additional specific questions about the Riviera, or anything else Walt Disney World Resort!
