Is there a way to get from Riverside to Key West by boat without going to Downtown and walking to the other dock and then taking the boat to Key West?

    Hi Sandy,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

Boat trips along the Sassagoula River are available from Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, Disney's Old Key West Resort, and Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa.  These routes all head to Downtown Disney.  There is not a direct boat from Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside to Disney's Old Key West Resort.  You would need to take the boat from Disney's Port Orleans - Riverside to Downtown Disney, and then switch boats to get back to Disney's Old Key West Resort.  If you have time, this could be a relaxing and peaceful boat ride.  You could even stop and spend some time at Downtown Disney to break up the trip.  If time is of the essence and you need the quickest way from Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside to Disney's Old Key West Resort, I suggest that you take a cab.  It will cost a little money but should not be too expensive as the actual distance between the two resorts is quite small, and will be a quick ride.  If there is not a cab waiting at your resort, simply ask a cast member and they should be able to call one for you.

I hope that this information is helpful for you, Sandy!  Have a great time planning your vacation, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
