    Will the Rivers of Light show be available on Thursday, April 30, 2020? (sunset at 8:00pm, show at 8:30pm)

    Hello Deborah! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel! The Rivers of Light: We Are One show at Disney's Animal Kingdom is such a heartwarming show! I love how it all takes place on water with special effects and the perfect musical score to accompany the show!

    The Rivers of Light: We Are One show will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2020 at 8:30PM. This is a nighttime show and the special effects, with water as the backdrop, are visually stunning! However, the show does not make use of any fireworks due to the residents (i.e. the animals!) of Disney's Animal Kingdom! You may have noticed on the Disney's Animal Kingdom calendar that the park is scheduled to close at 8:00PM that evening. Have no fear! The Rivers of Light show will go on at 8:30PM. If you are present for the show, you will not have to leave the park, however, no additional Guests will be permitted to enter the park after 8:00PM.
