Hi Corie!
I was SO EXCITED to get to see the new Rivers of Light nighttime show at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park a few weeks ago. It's a beautiful show - we loved it, and can't wait to see it again!
The Rivers of Light Dining Package includes reserved seating at the show. The reserved section has a great view of the show - right in the center of the amphitheater! There are two restaurants to choose from that offer the dining package:
Tusker House Restaurant has an all-you-care to eat buffet, and you can choose the breakfast, lunch or dinner seating for your dining package meal (you'll need to make your reservation for at least 2 1/2 hours before showtime). Tusker House is on the Disney Dining Plan and counts as one table-service meal entitlement.
Tiffin's has dining packages available at lunch and dinner. You'll be able to choose an appetizer, entree, non-alcoholic beverage, and a dessert (dining must take place at least three hours prior to the show). Tiffin's is on the Disney Dining Plan and counts as two table-service meal entitlements.
We booked a Rivers of Light Dining Package the night we saw the show. We chose Tiffin's - no one in our group had dined there, and we were excited to give it a try! We were thrilled with the atmosphere, service, and amazing food. We were seated in a large area that has gorgeous lighted artwork on the wall that resembles the floats in the Rivers of Light show. The detail of the room is incredible - make sure to check out the totems in the center of the room, and all the animal carvings!
I hope this helps with your planning, and I hope you enjoy Rivers of Light! - Diane W.
