When will the Rivers of Light Dining Package be available for December 14, 2018

    Hi Billie,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question! During my family’s latest visit to Walt Disney World, we had the chance to experience the Rivers of Light Dining Package and, as always, we found that it was the perfect way to see this beautiful show. Reserved seating and a delicious meal? What’s not to love!

Based on my experience, I’ve found that it often takes several weeks after the 180-Day dining reservation opens up for a trip for availability to pop up for this dining package. I unfortunately haven’t been able to find a pattern to be able to give you a specific idea of the timeline involved, likely because Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park’s hours can be quite variable, depending on the season.

My advice would be to check back every week, to see whether availability has been released for this event. Don’t worry - it’s likely just a delay and not a sign that there won’t be any availability on your chosen date! If you still don’t see anything by July, please contact 407-WDW-DINE for further assistance.

I’m sorry I wasn’t able to give you a more concrete answer to your question. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,
