Is the Rivers of Light Dessert Package suitable for an ECV user or would we be better with the Dining Package?

    Hello Jacqueline!

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.

On a recent trip to Walt Disney World and Disney's Animal Kingdom, we took the opportunity to enjoy Rivers of Light and I found the show beautifully mesmerizing. I simply love how all the pieces — story, music, lights, and water effects — all play together on such a grand scale. Jacqueline, I reached out to the Guest Services Cast Members to ask a bit about the party area for the Rivers of Light Dessert Party. They shared that the Rivers of Light Dessert Party is going to be handicap accessible, and you can remain in your Electric Convenience Vehicle (ECV) during the party. They also shared that the two restaurants participating in the Rivers of Light Dining Package Tiffins and Tusker House Restaurant — would each allow you to stay in your Electric Convenience Vehicle. So it sounds like both events are suitable for an ECV user. I have dined at both Tiffins and Tusker House and I really enjoyed amazing meals both restaurants. I happen to think my dinner at Tiffins remains one of the finest and most imaginative dining experiences I've enjoyed at Walt Disney World.

Here's wishing you a most magical Walt Disney World stay.

    Enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
