Hi Jennylee,
Thanks for visiting me here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with that excellent question!
It is not possible to stay overnight inside Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. However, you may certainly book your stay at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. This resort is set in a 43-acre wildlife preserve. The lodge itself is magnificently themed replicating the grand safari lodges of Africa.
All the rooms at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge have balconies, though views vary. I emphatically recommend booking a *Disc Arusha View Room. This will guarantee that your room will overlook the Arusha Savanna, which is the resort's main savanna area. You'll absolutely love watching exotic animals right from your balcony! If you book a *Disc Arusha View Room, you'll see zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, Ankole cattle, pelicans, geese, eland, and gemsbok.
Booking a Savanna View Room guarantees views of one of the savannas. The Uzima Savanna has giraffes, impalas, kudu, bongo, blesbok and Thompson's gazelles. The Sunset Savanna has male giraffes, ostrich, stork, blue cranes, African crowned cranes, Ankole cattle, bongo, impala, and Thompson's gazelles. You'll also be able to enjoy watching the fascinating wildlife from many of the resort's other viewing areas too.
If you choose to stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, please do book dinner reservations at Jiko - The Cooking Place, and any meal at Boma - Flavors of Africa. These are two of my family's favorite dining options at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Jennylee, I hope this information was helpful. If you have any other questions, I'll be more than happy to spread some pixie-dust on all your Disney vacation plans.
Wishing your family a most
unforgettable visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
