Hi Ritzy!! I love reading your responses and your love of Disney makes me :) I've read about all their runs on but can't find if any of Disney's Marathons/5ks include a walkathon since I am unable to run bc of a back injury? Thanks!! *O*

Hi Taryn! Thanks for the lovely compliment! I'm glad you are enjoying my answers here on the Walt Disney World Moms Panel. I believe you won't feel out of place walking the 5K race. The official requirement for races is that you need to maintain a 16-minute per mile pace or better, which really isn't too fast at all. In addition, you'll find a lot of water and character breaks along the way so you wouldn't necessarily be out of place as a walker. If you can maintain the required pace, you will be able to receive a finisher medallion. You will find more information about Disney's Marathons/5K races at RunDisney Amateur Sports ESPN Wide World of Sports. Please let me know if I may be able to assist you any further. Have a memorable time at the Walt Disney World Resort!
