Hi again
Cheri! Thanks for writing back! You do have another option. It will require being at Epcot super early the morning of your Advanced Dining Reservation (ADR) and taking a detour before proceeding to the restaurant. Personally I like to head over to Akershus Royal Banquet Hall immediately after entering the theme park. This is why I didn't offer you this other option in my earlier response. Once you arrive at Epcot please visit Guest Services. The Guest Services window is usually open an hour before the theme park opens for the day. The following is taken directly from the
Guest Services Wheelchairs and ECV Rentals page on this website:
Quantities are limited and subject to availability. Wheelchair and ECV rentals are available on the east side of the Epcot theme park Entrance Plaza and at the International Gateway. For more information, ask for the Guidebook for Guests with Disabilities at Guest Relations on the east side of Spaceship Earth. Therefore, if your ADR is for say 8:30 a.m., and Epcot opens at 9:00 a.m. that morning, you may obtain the ECV,
if available, as early as 8:00 a.m. The other option, as I had mentioned in my earlier response, is to rent the ECV from an outside vendor ahead of time. This option will guarantee you will have an ECV for your mom and you wouldn't have to take the detour to Guest Services before heading over to your ADR. In addition to the Buena Vista Scooters Rental company you may contact Walker Medical at (888) 726-6837, or Care Medical Equipment at (800) 741-2282. Then have them deliver your mom's ECV before she needs it for the day. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you. Enjoy a most magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
