    Michael from CA Asked

When will rise of the resistance have a standby line.

    Bright suns, Michael!

Welcome back to planDisney, and thanks for sending us another Disneyland Resort question. I hope you’re enjoying planning all the details of your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!

It sounds like you already know there is a virtual queue for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance in Disneyland Park. Have you heard about the latest changes to the procedure for joining the queue via the Disneyland mobile app? I think it makes the process easier and more convenient than before. Distribution times for virtual queue enrollment currently occur daily at 7:00 a.m. for Guests who will begin their day at Disneyland Park, but you don’t have to be inside the park to enter the queue! Using the app, you can access the virtual queue system and check for an available boarding group before you leave your hotel, home, or wherever else you may be that morning! There is another chance to join the virtual queue at 12:00 p.m. for Guests who plan to park hop to DIsneyland Park after 1:00 p.m.

I’m not sure when this very popular attraction might utilize a traditional standby queue in addition to or in place of the virtual queue system. However, do keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog and for the most up-to-date information, because new announcements are typically released there first. May the Force be with you, Michael, and I hope that your trip to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge proves to be an out-of-this-world adventure! I welcome you to stop by planDisney again with more questions as your vacation approaches.

    Wishing you magic,
