Bright Suns, Karen!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is an experience like nothing I have ever done before! This is my favorite attraction at
Disney’s Hollywood Studios! You do not want to miss what the Resistance has to offer at
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
Currently, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, is operating on a
“Boarding Pass” or “Virtual Queue” system. We are not sure how long this system will be used, but this is what we are working with now! To join a “Virtual Boarding Group” you (and every member of your party wishing to ride) will need be inside Disney’s Hollywood Studios at the published opening time. I
highly recommend getting to the park at least 20 minutes early so you can be inside the park when the “Boarding Passes” go live.
After “Boarding Passes” are released for the day, using your
My Disney Experience Mobile App, you may select the members of your party wanting to ride and reserve your spots in the “Virtual Queue” for the day. Slots fill up quickly, so, again, I would make sure that you and your party are inside Disney’s Hollywood Studios early!
After joining a ”Boarding Group”, the My Disney Experience Mobile App will tell you what your Group’s number is, and it will notify you as your time gets closer! Once your “Boarding Group” number is called, you will have up to 2 hours to get to Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance to join the physical queue!
Having a “Boarding Pass” does not guarantee entry to Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, but it is the best way to ensure your chance to ride!
While you wait for your “Boarding Group” to be called, don’t miss
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and all of the intergalactic excitement happening at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge!
Be sure to check out the
Disney Parks Blog for more information concerning the status of Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Your vacation is sure to be out-of-this-world!
Til the Spire.
