Hiya Marcy - welcome back to
planDisney!
Thanks for stopping by with your question - it's great to see a fellow Ohioan writing in!
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is one of the most advanced and magical attractions I've ever experienced, and it is currently available at both
Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and
Disneyland Park in California. I've experienced it numerous times, both with friends who are Star Wars superfans and also with Guests who have no idea that the Millennium Falcon isn't a bird discovered around the year 2000 - everyone loves it! I'm going to talk a little bit about the ride specifics now, so if anyone reading this response wants to avoid mild spoilers, stop reading now!
The magic of this attraction lies in the innovative new ride systems. In general, most Guests find this attraction to be quite mild, and I would not categorize it as a "physically difficult" experience. There are brief portions that are reminiscent of a mild motion simulator with an immersive video screen, a small drop, and some abrupt directional changes and stopping, but even those motion elements seem to have been purposely designed to
not be overly jarring.
That being said, everyone has different thresholds for motion on attractions, so if you are still concerned, I suggest having someone else in your party who you trust experience the attraction first. They can give you their opinion, and then you can decide if you want to experience this amazing attraction! It's also easier to gauge how you'll like it if you know some other attractions that you enjoy and others that you don't - in that case we can compare and make a better determination!
Regardless of what you decide to do, I definitely recommend stopping by the
Milk Stand during your visit to Black Spire Outpost - it's the most refreshing beverage in the galaxy!
