As of right now, if we do not live in Florida, we can renew our annual passes but cannot get new ones, correct? 1. Do you have any information about non-resident annual passes opening up for new AP guests? 2. If my daughter marries, can her husband get 1?

Hey there, hi there, Alicia! Welcome back to planDisney! I'm so glad that you've stopped by with your vacation planning question. It's always oh-so-fun to chat Disney with a fellow Annual Passholder!

It sounds like the magic is calling you and your growing family, Alicia! The magic called my family and me, too, and we became Walt Disney World Annual Passholders in 2015 and have loved every second of our pixie-dusted Passes since then. Being able to just make Theme Park Pass reservations and head to our happy place on a whim brings joy to our everyday lives. As a fellow out-of-state Annual Passholder who accidentally let my daughter's Annual Pass expire this year (Whoops!), I am also looking forward to the day that the sales of new Annual Passes resume, and I'm more than happy to answer your questions today.

You are correct that at this time, only the Disney Pixie Dust Pass is available for purchase, and since that Pass is exclusively for Florida residents, the sales of new Annual Passes for Guests who live out of state are temporarily paused. You are also correct that as current Annual Passholders, you can still renew your Annual Passes up to 60 days before and 30 days after their expiration dates. However, even after your daughter gets married (Congratulations!), since her new husband will need to purchase a new Annual Pass, he will have to wait until sales of new Annual Passes resume.

Unfortunately, no announcements have been made yet on when the sales of new Annual Passes will become available again, but I recommend keeping an eye on the Passholder page on the Walt Disney World website and Disney Parks Blog for updates and news on sales resuming as soon as it drops. I know I'll be watching with you and wishing upon a star that your soon-to-be son-in-law can become a part of the magic soon!

I hope this was helpful, Alicia, and I hope you and your family have the most magical and memorable time at The Most Magical Place on Earth this holiday season! Congratulations to your daughter and your entire family! So much to celebrate! Don't forget to pick up some "I'm Celebrating" buttons when you arrive! Please stop by any time with any vacation planning questions you may have along the way. You've got a friend in me!

    See ya real soon,

    Mandy
