Is riding in the front car of the monorail still not allowed? (Nov 2012)

    Hi there Erin,

I can vividly remember riding in the front of the monorail with my Mom and Dad when I was a little girl and it's one of those memories I will never forget!  I can seriously remember rounding the bend and catching glimpse of the Magic Kingdom through that big front window while the driver announced that we had arrived.

Unfortunately, this experience was discontinued a few years ago, and for safety reasons, guests are no longer permitted to ride "up front" on the Walt Disney World Monorails!

    Best Wishes,

    Amanda F.
