I got ridiculously lucky and managed to snag an 8:05am reservation for Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique! So excited, but not entirely sure how to get there from Port Orleans FQ since this is before park opening. How does that work? First timer!

    Hi Caitlin!

    Welcome to planDisney!

First and foremost, we need to take a second to celebrate! Woooo! Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is going to be such a special moment during your trip!

Okay…now let’s get into the details of it all!

As of now, Early Entry is listed to begin at 8:30 AM around the time of your trip. It’s always good to double-check those times as your trip gets closer, but we’ll plan on that time for now.

Bus transportation from Port Orleans French Quarter to the theme parks will begin about an hour before the listed Early Entry time (sometimes even a little earlier!). And Magic Kingdom tends to open its gates to guests about 30-45 minutes prior to Early Entry.

So, if you're there when the gates open, you shouldn't have any trouble getting to your reservation on time. When you arrive at the Magic Kingdom, you can let a Cast Member know that you have an early reservation, and they'll be able to let you know if there's a specific line to join to enter the park or if you can get in line with other guests.

One of my favorite things about the Hey Disney! device in our Disney World resort room is checking the bus times. It will often be able to let you know when the buses will start running to Magic Kingdom.

So, I recommend checking that the night before and trying to make it onto the first bus of the day. That way, you have time to get to the park and through security, so you’re ready to go as soon as the gates open.

Another option to consider is booking a Minnie Van. This will get you from point A to point B faster; however, it will come at an extra cost. If you go this route, I recommend booking this early, as Minnie Vans can be a bit tougher to reserve first thing in the morning since it’s a popular time.

I hope that helps! If any other questions pop up as you continue to plan your trip, feel free to come back and visit us!
