Hiya Ashley!
Welcome to planDisney! I had a big family trip this past August to Walt Disney World Resort where I took notes on everything we did. I wanted to be efficient and I also wanted to be able to help guests like you. We used
Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass for the first time and found them to be very helpful in reducing wait times.
When tapping into a Lightning Lane, there is a chance that there is a second touch point near the end of the queue. Guests cannot book another Lightning Lane until they tap into the second touch point (if there is one.) I have found that attractions that had a second touch point in the past may no longer have one. Sometimes they are not working and have a cover on them. I have also had Cast Members manually tap me in with a smart device like an iPad. I sometimes just ask the Cast Members before I enter that queue if there is a second touchpoint so I don't worry about refreshing my screen to find my next Lightning Lane.
Attractions where I tended to find two touch points were:
Peter Pan's Flight Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Test Track (Currently being reimagined.)
Slinky Dog DashFrozen Ever After
Space Mountain
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
Dumbo the Flying Elephant
This list is not exhaustive and can change as procedures change but I suggest you always ask before entering the queue. Once you tap into the final touchpoint refresh your app and see the available times. I suggest booking immediately as time slots can and will run out.
I hope this helps and you have a magical time on your upcoming trip!
Happy Planning!
