Hello, Theresa! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I have been taking my daughter to the parks since she was a toddler and I’m happy to tell you that there are an abundance of attractions that young children can ride with their parents. In fact, there are
over 40 attractions that do not have any height restrictions which means that even the youngest infants can ride. So feel free to hop aboard Storybook Land Canal Boats, Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, “it’s a small world,” Toy Story Midway Mania, Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin, and so many more.
In addition to attractions, there are also lots of places that toddlers can explore at their own pace. Mickey’s Toontown is a zany and goofy place perfect for kids. Little ones can climb and play at Goofy’s Playhouse, Donald’s Boat, and Chip ‘n Dale Treehouse. Or take a raft over to the
Pirates Lair on Tom Sawyer Island. Kids can explore caves and passages, traverse suspension bridges, discover hideouts, and dig up treasure. It’s a great place to burn off some energy all while having a great adventure!
Finally, don’t forget about
meeting characters. My daughter absolutely adores meeting characters and has since her very first visit at 18 months old. She delights in collecting signatures in her autograph book and I really love all the great photos we have from each character meet.
I hope this helps. Have a fabulous visit to the Disneyland Resort!
