Hi Andrea! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Tomorrow is the beginning of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation and I know you must be thrilled! One of the best things about visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" is that there is a lot available for everyone in the family to enjoy, even during pregnancy. When I was pregnant with my daughter on one of our
visits, I didn't feel like I missed out on much at all! And since I was eating for two, I made sure to eat enough Mickey-shaped waffles for us both. Ha!
For the most part, rides that don't have a height requirement are suitable during pregnancy, but there are some exceptions to that. There are actually more rides that you can ride than those that you can't, so you can find a
list of the attractions you should avoid at the link I just included. I recommend you discuss your visit with your doctor for any advice regarding suitable attractions and things to avoid during your vacation, and when in doubt regarding a ride, skip it! There are advisory signs posted at most attractions that will tell you if the ride is safe for certain health conditions, as well. While you'll want to skip the more "thrilling" rides, there are a LOT of rides that are safe, even for
infants! You'll also find that you will appreciate the
shows more during pregnancy ... there is nothing like sitting down and relaxing indoors for a while!
I hope this information helps, Andrea! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
