Hi! Are most of the rides seating for two? What is the other one going to do on rides like Dumbo? Do we get to ride alone or with someone else?

    Bonjour Martine,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for your question! If I understand correctly, you’ll be visiting Walt Disney World Resort with a party of 3 and you’re wondering what attractions you can experience together as a group.

First of all, let me reassure you that there are relatively few attractions that only allow two people in a row. And, even then, the person who has to ride alone is likely to be sitting either right in front or behind you during the attraction. While some attractions may try to place other riders with the person who is riding alone, if that makes you feel uncomfortable, please mention it to the Cast Member loading the attraction and they will do what they can to honour your request. To use your example, I've seen several people flying in style with an elephant all to themselves on Dumbo The Flying Elephant!

My friend Rachel recently answered a question for a Guest who was also hoping to fit 3 people in a row for some of the Magic Kingdom’s attractions. The good news is that there are several attractions that allow 3 people to sit together in a row, throughout the Walt Disney World Resort’s four Theme Parks, including (but certainly NOT limited to): Test Track and Soarin’ at Epcot, Kilimanjaro Safaris and Kali River Rapids at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and The Great Movie Ride and Star Tours at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. In addition, some other attractions may allow three people to sit together if one (or two) of the people are relatively small.

I hope this helps you plan your upcoming vacation. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
