Boo to you, Nate, and welcome to planDisney!
This is a great question! During
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, not every single attraction is open, but most of the big favorites are running. You’ll find classics like
Haunted Mansion,
Space Mountain,
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train,
Pirates of the Caribbean, and
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad all operating, along with many family-friendly rides sprinkled throughout the park. A few attractions, usually smaller ones or those undergoing refurbishment, may be unavailable, but the majority are open to enjoy.
One of the best perks of the party is that the crowds are much lighter compared to a normal park day. Since tickets are limited, wait times for popular attractions are usually shorter, sometimes much shorter, than what you’d see during the day. That said, keep in mind that many guests make sure to see the party entertainment, like the Boo-to-You Parade, Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, and the Halloween fireworks, which means attraction lines can feel even shorter while those shows are happening.
If your priority is attractions, you can get a lot done in a short amount of time. But if you want the full spooky experience, I’d suggest balancing rides with the unique party offerings you won’t get on a regular day.
Also, be sure to follow the candy trails and keep your eyes open for special character meet and greets. The character experiences during the party are the best, as some of our favorite Disney pals can be seen at the party that aren't always available during regular park days.
