Are all rides Pooh-sized friendly? What rides might be a problem?

Hiya Selma and welcome to planDisney. Whether you are "Pooh-sized," "Baloo-sized," or "Roo-sized," Walt Disney World Theme Park attractions are what Walt Disney World Theme Parks do best. I understand your question so let's get down to business and get you some information to help you plan your April Disney adventure.

"Pooh-sized" is a spectrum of sizes. There are "short Poohs" and "tall Poohs" and some Poohs that have more "Poohness" in their legs or their bottoms but all "Poohs" are awesome. Here are some ideas for Pooh bears of any age and size and do not be shy about asking a Cast Member for advice. They want every Pooh to have as much fun as every Roo. Many attractions have test vehicles to try out so you do not wait in line only to find out that the attraction is not best for you.

Poohs may find little legroom on attractions like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, TRON Lightcycle / Run, and Avatar Flight of Passage and are tight fits due to the size of the vehicle seat and/or body position. Unfortunately, I have seen larger Poohs attempt these attractions with little success. TRON Lightcycle / Run does have handicap-accessible vehicles that will work for larger Guests from the Hundred Acre Wood. There are many online attraction videos and pictures to help you gauge what would work best for you. I recommend doing a web search for "Disney Pooh-sized and seeing what other Pooh bears recommend as well.

Limitations on other attractions are few in number. Attractions may offer lap belt extensions and adjustable lap bars to keep you safe. If an attraction seems like a tight fit to get into such as through the doors of the tea cups at the Mad Tea Party or difficulty getting out of like Space MountainTest Track, and Na'vi River Journey because it is a step down into the vehicle, just be patient because the attraction is not starting with you. Remember... No Pooh left behind!

planDisney Pro Tip: Many attractions are bench seat style such as Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and you may request to ride alone to get more room. I rode Prince Charming Regal Carrousel on the bench and not a stallion and it was absolutely lovely. The best part was that I did not get motion sick from the up and down.

I hope this advice is as sweet as "Hunny." Please ask me directly if you have any follow-up questions.

Selma, enjoy making many Magical Memories.
