Hey Alexis,
Welcome to planDisney! I am thrilled for you - you are visiting Walt Disney World in just a few short weeks! Having a
private VIP Tour booked is literally the icing on the cake. Private VIP Tours allow you to efficiently enjoy several of your favorite attractions. The team will do a little pre-planning before you arrive to help map out your time based on your interests and you'll have a dedicated cast member escort to guide you through your day. Your VIP Tour Guide will also escort you between parks, utilizing backstage entrances as necessary to save time and help facilitate snacks, beverages and more. These tours are very thoughtfully planned and are a real treat for those who book them.
Alexis, give some thought to what your most favorite attractions are. Your VIP Tour should be a direct reflection of what you and your family or group love the most about Walt Disney World. If I were planning my own VIP Tour, I know that I would want to mainly focus on the heavy hitter attractions that my kids and I love the most. Here's what my ideal itinerary would look like if I were you:
We'd start at
Animal Kingdom and tackle Avatar Flight of Passage and Na'vi River Journey, then finish this park with Expedition Everest and maybe Kilimanjaro Safaris if it's early enough.
Next, I'd head to
EPCOT. Here, we'd prioritize Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Remy's Ratatouille Adventure and Frozen Ever After - the
new animatronics featured here look amazing and you really need to see them!
Up next,
Hollywood Studios. We'd ride Slinky Dog Dash first so that my youngest son can get his favorite ride done early. Then we'd head to Star Wars Galaxy's Edge for Rise of the Resistance and Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run so my Star Wars-loving partner and teens can get their fill. We'd wrap Hollywood Studios with Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway since Rock 'n' Roller Coaster will be undergoing a refurbishment when you're visiting.
Because it might be my favorite park (I love the nostalgia!), I would end the day at
Magic Kingdom. We'd pack in the rest of the tour with TRON Lightcycle / Run, Space Mountain, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Haunted Mansion and Peter Pan's Flight. If there's time, we might even try to squeeze in Pirates of the Caribbean. This would all depend on our tour's end time because my primary goal would be to end just before Magic Kingdom's nighttime spectacular
Happily Ever After. Your tour guide can secure a special viewing location for you and your group that will offer a perfect view of the show.
Alexis, just know that ss long as you work with the planning team in advance you are sure to have a terrific time during your tour. Don't forget that there are other tours available, too. My family and I are considering the
Keys to the Kingdom Tour. I am a huge Disney nerd and have always been fascinated by how the parks operate. This tour takes you behind the scenes at Magic Kingdom and gives you the inside scoop on some of your favorite attractions. Have the best time! If you need additional planning help, come on back. See ya real soon!
