Hi there, Deepika, and welcome to planDisney! You have no idea how thrilling it is for me to hear about this special visit to the Happiest Place on Earth you have coming up!
When Walt Disney created Disneyland, he believed that it should be a place where caregivers and children could have fun together, and I believe he accomplished just that. Disneyland can be a magical place for everyone.
There's a super helpful tool in the
Disneyland app that will answer your question, Deepika, and anyone taking a young one to Disneyland should know about it too! From the map screen, select the "Filters" icon in the top lefthand corner. You will then be able to filter attractions by Thrill Factor, Age, Height Requirements and more. It's amazing! This feature on the Disneyland app, or the
Attractions and Rides Map on the Disneyland website, will set your group up for a positive experience at the Happiest Place on Earth, because you'll be aware of what attractions might be appropriate for your baby.
Even though some attractions do have a
height requirement at Disneyland, there are dozens (and DOZENS) of attractions that are able to be enjoyed by all, no matter age or height. And although every family should make decisions based on their own preferences and priorities, the Disneyland Railroad, "it's a small world," and Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway are my favorite attractions families can enjoy together at Disneyland, grandparents to little babes.
Deepika, I want to also make sure you are aware of the
Disneyland Resort Baby Care Centers, located at the end of Main Street next to Plaza Inn in Disneyland Park, as well as next to Ghirardelli Soda Fountain in California Adventure. Each of these full-service Baby Care Centers are complimentary and offer a host of helpful amenities like cozy nursing rooms with chairs, a kitchen with sink, bottle warmers and microwave. The Baby Care Center is a quiet, cool oasis away from the hustle and bustle and provides caregivers and their little ones with some extra comforts. It also has the coldest water in the entire park, in my opinion, so make sure to fill up your water bottles while you're there!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question, Deepika! As you continue to prepare for your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth, don't hesitate to come back and
ask us another question! We'd love to share more recommendations for a truly magical time with little ones. But, most of all, I sincerely hope you and your sweet one have so much fun immersed in the Disneyland magic. Say "hi" to Mickey for me!
Warmest wishes,
McCayla
