Welcome Home, Shannon - and welcome to planDisney. I see that you were lucky enough to score tickets for last week's
Moonlight Magic, which is so exciting! This is one of the most popular
Disney Vacation Club perks, and with good reason. While the most recent event at
Disney's Hollywood Studios is now completed, I'll still run through what Members can expect so others can get this information for future reference.
DVC started Moonlight Magic way back in 2016, and these Members-only evenings are always a fan favorite. The registration fills up quickly, so it's wise to refer to the event website so you can familiarize yourself with the specifics and have the best chance of snagging a spot. Our family has been lucky enough to attend in the past, and we had such a great time! At our last Moonlight Magic outing at EPCOT, we were able to enjoy several popular attractions, spend quality time with some Characters, and consume a ridiculous number of complimentary Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bars.
For Members in attendance at the July 20 event, all major attractions were open. This included
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance,
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets, and even an exclusive showing of the
Fantasmic! nighttime spectacular. In addition to a DJ and the aforementioned unlimited ice cream treats, there were a number of Character experiences available with some pals that usually aren't out and about in the parks, including Mushu, Sebastian, WALL-E, and the Lightfoot brothers from Onward.
