What rides would be good for 9 and 11 year olds?

    Hey Wayne-

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so excited to share the best thrills and maybe even a chill that Walt Disney World theme parks offer. Since I do not know what your kids like some of these attractions may be too much excitement. Both my 8 and 12 year old sons love these experiences. Let’s go park by park as you get ready to blast off, rock out and get soaked.

    Magic Kingdom Park
-Big Thunder Mountain Railroad- the “wildest ride in the wilderness”
-Splash Mountain to sing Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah and get drenched
-Space Mountain to blast off into the dark
-Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin because a little sibling competition defeating Zurg is fun
-Haunted Mansion to see 999 happily haunting friends come out to socialize
-Seven Dwarfs Mine Train to sing "Heigh-Ho"

    Epcot
-Test Track- who doesn’t want to design and race their own car?
-Soarin’- hand gliding over the Golden Gate Bridge is jaw dropping
-Mission Space- Pilot a spaceship to Mars? Yes. please.

    Disney’s Hollywood Studios
-Toy Story Midway Mania- who is the best sharpshooter and gain bragging rights
-Star Tours simulates an epic Star Wars Universe journey
-Twilight Zone Tower of Terror because the next drop may be your last.
-Rock n’ Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith is high octane in a super-stretch limo. Upside down anyone?

    Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park
-Kali River Rapids- get drenched as your raft races through the jungle
-Kilimanjaro Safari- where African wildlife is right out your vehicle window. Get your camera ready!
-Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain - so they can meet the Yeti!

This should keep your two adventures smiling, screaming and laughing!

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories!
