What rides in Disneyland park can babies/2ft toddlers go on? What about a 4yr old just over 3ft tall?

    Hello, Danielle,

Taking our little Mouseketeers to the Disneyland Resort is a precious way to make magical memories to last a lifetime. Your toddler and preschooler will certainly have a wonderful time. But I suspect you may enjoy witnessing their joy and wonder as much if not more than them.

The “Daddy’s Day” outings that Walt Disney spent with his daughters inspired him to create a place where families with small children could spend time together experiencing attractions that ALL of the family members could enjoy together. From that inspiration came Walt Disney's Original Magic Kingdom: Disneyland. So you will find that many attractions are suitable for both your toddler and your preschooler. Some of my favorites include “it’s a small world,” Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind, and The Little Mermaid - Ariel’s Undersea Adventure. There are a few attractions with minimum height requirements. A child just over 36 inches should be tall enough to experience Autopia (when accompanied by someone over 54 inches who can reach the accelerator pedal),  Chip 'n' Dale's GADGETcoaster, Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree, and Luigi’s Rollicking Roadsters. To see attractions with minimum height restrictions, you can set a filter on the map screen of the Disneyland mobile app.

Tony’s Tip: If you choose to purchase the optional Disney Genie+ service or the available individual Lightning Lanes, you’ll be pleased to learn that several attractions without height restrictions also feature Lightning Lane entrances. They include the following:

    Disneyland Park:Disney California Adventure Park:
    • Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue!
    • Toy Story Midway Mania!
    • WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure

I hope you and your little ones have a magical time, Danielle. Feel free to stop by planDisney again if you have any more questions.

    ~Tony
