For rides at Disneyland that issue a return time for mobility access, i.e Jungle Cruise, will our entire party of 7, 4 adults and 3 kids, be able to stay together? These are not lightning lane entrances so difficult to sync up in different lines.

    Hi Dominic,

Thanks for visiting planDisney with your question! The Disneyland Resort has taken strides to ensure that all Guests have a magical experience in the parks. I’ve visited the parks with family and friends who needed to utilize the return time system, and it has always been a smooth and pleasant experience. I’m happy to share some options that might be helpful for your group.

Before heading to the park, I recommend exploring the Disneyland Resort’s resources and accommodations for Guests with disabilities. There are a variety of tools and services available, and reviewing them ahead of time can help you better understand what to expect during your visit. Once you arrive, be sure to stop by the Accessibility Services Kiosk to pick up additional resources and get guidance on how to navigate the park in the most accessible way.

Guests using a wheelchair or an Electric Conveyance Vehicle (ECV) can request location-based return times at select attractions (such as Jungle Cruise). To do this, simply speak to a Cast Member at the participating ride, and they’ll provide a return time. Your entire party should be able to return together, but please defer to the Cast Member’s guidance, as policies and procedures may change.

If you plan to use location return times through the Disability Access Service (DAS), there are slightly different expectations. DAS registration typically accommodates a party size of up to four Guests (the registered DAS Guest and up to three others). I recommend speaking to a Cast Member at the Accessibility Services Kiosk or during your DAS registration interview to see what accommodations may be available for larger groups.

I hope this information was helpful, Dominic! If you have more questions or would like tips for your upcoming adventure, feel free to reach out to me or any of my fellow planDisney panelists. We're always here to add a little extra pixie dust to your vacation.

    Happy Planning!
