Welcome BACK, Susan!
Thank you again so much for asking another great Disneyland Resort vacation planning question to us hEAR at planDisney! I'm happy to be your planEAR today, and it's my pleasure to help a fellow Texan!
I'm somewhat 'Pooh-sized' myself, and my husband is 6'3. As far as height, your nephew will have no problems. You'll also be happy to know that your nephew will fit comfortably on all of the '
any height' attractions as most of these ride vehicles are bench seats. (Think slow-moving boats, like through "it's a small world.") Of these attractions, those that do have vehicle restraints (check out this picture on the landing page for the
Alice in Wonderland attraction) are often pull-down bars that stop when comfortable.
There are a few
attractions where he might be uncomfortable, like the seats in Matterhorn Bobsleds as well as Incredicoaster are very bucket-like, but his size shouldn't keep him from enjoying them. Others have pull-down bars that lower to only one certain point, like The Haunted Mansion. Incredicoaster is the only attraction with a pull-down restraint, and even so it has various points of stopping & locking so everyone feels comfortable. And the following attractions have pull-across lap belts, similar to a seat belt, that extend really far, more than a car or airplane lap belt: Matterhorn Bobsleds, Radiator Springs Racers, Soarin', Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, Indiana Jones Adventure, and Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: Breakout.
Don't forget about all of the other fun that can be had at Disneyland Resort, from
Character Entertainment to shows and parades that will be making their return shortly.
I hope that this helped to better plan your upcoming Disney days, Susan! And thank you again so much for your wonderful question. We'll See You Real Soon!
