What rides will be closed on both parks during August 21-25, 2023? Thank you

Hello there Jodie, thank you for stopping by planDisney with your great question!

I wish I could look into the future and have this answer for you, but unfortunately, the park hours & events calendar only shows a little over a month right now.  My advice would be to keep checking the calendar as the August dates get closer and the park hours and refurbishments are released.  Once you navigate to the hours & events calendar, you can scroll down below each park to the "Closed for Refurbishment" section to see what will be closed on that date.  You can also find this information on the Disneyland app.

Even if some of your favorite attractions are closed for refurbishment during your trip, do not worry!  There will be plenty to explore in both parks, the Disneyland Resort has so many wonderful activities and entertainment to explore in addition to the attractions.  My favorite activity to do each trip is to test my art skills at the Animation Academy in Disney California Adventure Park.  You'll receive step-by-step instruction on how to draw one of your favorite Disney characters, there are no reservations required, and you get to keep your drawing as a fun souvenir!  The Disney Animation Building is located in Hollywood Land, and classes take place every 30 minutes.  There is a schedule in the lobby as well if you want to plan around drawing a certain character.

I hope this information was helpful for your trip planning Jodie, and please do not hesitate to come back and ask any other questions!

    Have a magical day!
