Hi Vicki! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.
Do you plan on purchasing Lightning Lane Multi Pass?
Disney's PhotoPass Service comes complimentary with this option. It's a great value! If not, you must purchase Disney PhotoPass+ One Day each day of your visit. You can designate one person to be the account all photos are linked to, using the Disneyland mobile app on their mobile device. If members of your group aren't with that person when a photo is taken, request a card from the PhotoPass photographer, which can later be scanned using the mobile device's camera to link those photos. If you have questions about linking, speak to the photographer. They're happy to explain!
Some Attractions are temporarily closed for refurbishment during your visit, however, not all of them are closed for the full length of your stay. So, rather than list daily closures for each park, I want to point you in the direction of the
Daily Events Schedule, which is regularly updated not only with refurbishment information, but also entertainment, parade, and fireworks schedules. These details are subject to change. You can adjust the date at the top of the schedule to view each day of your visit and select the park you'll be visiting for these important planning details. For example, at the start of your magical visit, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Frontierland at Disneyland Park should be open, while later in your trip, it should be undergoing refurbishment. With these details, you can plan when to prioritize your favorite Attractions.
One hint: If you'd like to experience the
Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay in New Orleans Square at Disneyland Park, it currently is undergoing refurbishment of its queue, so you'll need to enter the virtual queue on the Disneyland mobile app for your chance to see Jack and his friends. This one is a can't-miss for me and is in our holiday plans.
If it's a parade you want to see, you have some festive magic in store for you! The
Christmas Fantasy Parade should return to Disneyland Resort starting November 15, which is timed perfectly with your visit. It may not run daily, however, and schedules are subject to change. You can check the Disneyland mobile app for dates and showtimes. Look for "Today's Showtimes" on the homepage of the app. Select the park you want to see showtimes for by tapping the Sleeping Beauty Castle icon for Disneyland Park or the Pixar Pal-A-Round icon for Disney California Adventure Park. Then tap "Today's Showtimes."
There will be other seasonal magic to experience during the
Holidays at Disneyland Resort. Follow the
Disney Parks Blog for updates. It's the official news source for the parks and has great information for Guests.
Have a magical time!
Elizabeth
