Hi Alison! Questions like yours are the sign of a great planner! You are going to be well-prepared for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Knowing which attractions are scheduled for refurbishment is an important part of planning. I’m happy to help!
The Walt Disney World Resort website is loaded with incredibly helpful planning resources! One of those resources is the
Hours and Events Calendar! This calendar provides Guests with a complete list of any attractions that are scheduled to be closed for refurbishment. When you arrive at the calendar, be sure that it is set to “Day View.” There is another option for “5-day view” but that will not provide the information you are seeking. The “Day View” calendar will list each park. At the bottom of each park’s listing, you will find a heading that states, “Closed for Refurbishment.” Click the heading to reveal which attractions will be closed.
Currently, I see that Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith at
Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Country Bear Jamboree at
Magic Kingdom Park are the only major attractions scheduled to be closed for refurbishment during your February 6 – 8, 2024 visit. But don’t worry, all of those singers, from both attractions, will be roaring back once their refurbishment is complete!
Alison, I hope this information is helpful with your planning! Come on back to planDisney with more questions! We’re all ears!
Dreams do come true!
