Which rides will be closed when Disneyland reopens on April 30? Thank you!

    Hi Robert,

Thank you for sending your question to planDisney.  I am so excited to hear that after so long, Disneyland Resort is ready to reopen it's gates to California Residents!  I can't wait for the first time my family and I walk down Main Street U.S.A. together and catch a glimpse of Sleeping Beauty Castle!

While Disney has announced the official reopening date of April 30, 2021, not many other details have been released.  As of right now, the only information regarding closures are centered around experiences that cause guests to gather together so there will be some changes due to current governmental regulations.  Experiences that typically draw larger crowds such as parades and nighttime spectaculars will return at a later date.

Disney has also announced that there will be plenty of magical experiences from surprise character appearances that allow for physical distancing as well as the newly reimagined Snow White's Enchanted Wish.  Rest assured that even with the changes in place due to government and safety guidelines, there will be lots to see and do, including family favorite attractions and thrilling adventures in both theme parks.  Right now, we don't have a complete list, but I encourage you to check the Disney Parks Blog and the official Disneyland Resort website for the most up to date information leading up to April 30, 2021.

Once more information is released, please feel free to come back to planDisney with any other questions you may have.  We are always happy to help.
