What rides in Cars Land can I take my 5 and 1 year old on?

    Hi there, Janelle!

Thanks for visiting us with your great question. You and your children are going to love Cars Land in Disney California Adventure Park...it’s like stepping right into a scene from the movie!

Depending on your youngest’s height, he or she may be able to ride Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree and Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters with you and your 5-year-old. The minimum height requirement for those two attractions is 32 inches tall. If your older child has the need for speed, he or she is probably tall enough to experience Radiator Springs Racers with you, although your 1-year-old will have to sit this one out for a few more years.

Flo’s V8 Café in Cars Land is inspired by the drive-up diners along Route 66 and features a spectacular view of cars speeding by on the Radiator Springs Racers attraction for little ones who aren’t quite tall enough to ride yet! If you dine al fresco, pay special attention to the Cadillac Mountain Range in Ornament Valley—the six peaks of the mountain range represent Cadillac tail fins from the years 1957-1962. You can also enjoy your meal out front at tables stationed between retro gasoline pumps. Be on the lookout for Doc Hudson’s three Piston Cup Trophies and other Cars-inspired memorabilia around the restaurant.

I hope this helps, Janelle. Please write back with more questions as your Disneyland Resort vacation approaches!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
