which rides are too big for a six year old?

    Hi, Peggy!

On my most recent visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, I was ready to request a rider switch for my three-year-old at the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train ride in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom. To my surprise, my peanut was actually tall enough to ride. It was her first big girl coaster and she loved it! The rides and attractions at the Walt Disney World Resort are all family friendly! Some do have height requirements, so depending on how tall your six-year-old is will determine which rides she will be able to do on your next visit.

Keep in mind that many of the attractions throughout all 4 theme parks can be enjoyed by everyone. Magic Kingdom has 25 attractions with no height restrictions. And that’s at one park alone! If you click on this link, you will see a list of the height requirements for most attractions at all the parks.

I know getting to ride on some of those big kid attractions are like a right of passage. I’ll never forget my son’s first time riding Space Mountain. To this day, it’s his favorite roller coaster; mine too!

I hope you have a great visit and enjoy many firsts with your little one. Be sure to come back and see us again soon!

    TTFN- Ta ta for now!
