    1. What rides or attractions are there for kids aged 2 and 5 (37 in tall)? 2. What special services are there for children with autism? I have a 5 yo girl with high functioning autism and anxiety. 3. How do I know Kids Nite out sitters are safe?

Hi, Laura!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  It sounds like you are ready to do some resEARch to prepare for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation.  It would be my pleasure to help you out with that.

I think you will find that there are many attractions and experiences in the Walt Disney World theme parks that your entire family will be able to enjoy together, even while your kiddos are little.  To determine which attractions you think will be best for your little Mouseketeers, I recommend visiting the attractions page on the Walt Disney World website.  On this page, you can filter the list of attractions by categories such as thrill level, interests, and height restrictions.  This should help your family create a list of must-do attractions and determine which experiences you would like to make your FastPass+ selections for once you get closer to your trip.  Be sure to also look into the Rider Switch Service, which can be quite helpful to families with little ones.

Like you, I am also the parent of a child with autism.  My family loves the way that the Walt Disney World Resort goes above and beyond to make the magic accessible to everyone.  I would recommend that you familiarize yourself with Walt Disney World's Services for Guests with Disabilities prior to your visit.  When we visit the Walt Disney World Resort, my son utilizes Disability Access Service.  Disability Access Service is meant to assist guests whose disability prevents them from waiting in a typical queue environment.  To see if Disability Access Service would be a good fit for your daughter, stop by Guest Relations at any of the theme parks.  As you prepare for your vacation, I would also suggest taking a look at this helpful guide for guests with cognitive disabilities.

Although I have never personally used the childcare services provided by Kid's Nite Out, I know many friends who have been very happy with this independent childcare provider.  The Walt Disney World Resort has been recommending Kid's Nite Out for in-room babysitting services for quite some time.  If you would like more information about Kid's Nite Out, I would suggest you contact them directly.  You can find a phone number for Kid's Nite Out at the link I have provided in this answer.
