Are rides and areas that are also at Disneyland (e.g., Space Mountain and Star Wars Galaxy's Edge) different enough at Disney World that you should prioritize any of them for FastPass+? We are Disneyland regulars but Disney World novices.

Hi there Krista! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We're always happy to help!

Wow! How exciting that you will be journeying to the Walt Disney World Resort in less than a month! My family and I are Florida regulars who have visited the Disneyland Resort just a handful of times. Both resort areas have so much to offer fans of the Disney Parks. We love the charming, nostalgic feel of Disneyland Park and the immersive, themed areas like Cars Land in Disney California Adventure Park. If you want to experience the best of the Walt Disney World theme parks, I will share some of my favorite Florida attractions to put on your must-do list.

At the Magic Kingdom Park, you will find many similarities to your favorite Disneyland Park attractions, so I would suggest using FastPass+ to prioritize what you are not able to experience in California. I do recommend trying to ride Splash Mountain in Florida, as the Walt Disney World version has a few extra features that are a lot of fun. You will find that unlike in Disneyland Park, Peter Pan's Flight is a FastPass+ attraction, and reserving it in advance is a great way to soar over Neverland on this popular ride. In my opinion, your best use of FastPass+ in the Magic Kingdom Park is Seven Dwarfs Mine Train; the newest addition to Fantasyland draws big crowds and does not disappoint!

EPCOT is full of unique attractions you will not find at your "home park." Although Test Track uses a ride system akin to that of Radiator Springs Racers, the experience is more interactive. Soarin' Around the World is currently accepting aviators in The Land, so if you would like to experience this version while Soarin' Over California returns to Disney California Adventure, now's your chance!

At Disney's Hollywood Studios, I would focus on attractions like Slinky Dog DashRock 'n' Roller Coaster® Starring Aerosmith, and the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™. The attractions in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge are identical to those in Disneyland Park, so I would spend my time and FastPass+ allotment experiencing attractions unique to Florida.

If Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is on your itinerary, be sure to visit Pandora - The World of Avatar. Avatar Flight of Passage is my favorite attraction in this theme park, and maybe even in all of Walt Disney World. Kilimanjaro Safaris is another not-to-be-missed adventure that you will only find in Florida. Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain is my final pick in this park for visitors from California. It's entirely different from its Matterhorn cousin in Disneyland Park!

I hope that helps build your Walt Disney World itinerary, Krista. Have a fantastic visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth!
