Can you use Rider Switch with the Single Rider option? For example, if the first group uses the Single Rider Line, can the second group go through with Rider Swap?

Thank you for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Aimee! I’m glad to hEAR about your return trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth!

You can absolutely combine the attraction line of your choice with Rider Switch Service. Having a very young preschooler of my own means my family combines FastPass+, Rider Switch and whole-family rides to make the most of our Walt Disney World Resort vacation. When it comes to an attraction like Test Track at Epcot, you can approach the Cast Member at the front of the ride, asking for Rider Switch. When the “second group” is assigned a return time, “group one” can go ahead and board the attraction. In my family’s case, my Dad and Brother will hop into the Single Rider Line and enjoy the attraction. Then, it’s my turn to swap the kid and I get to board. If my son was with us (who is a race car enthusiast!), I would typically make FastPass+ reservations for him, my husband, and others in our party. The Rider Switch process would be the same, except for the “first group’s” line of choice.

If I can help you find more ways to make your trip enjoyable, such as freebies, off the beaten path activities, or even share my favorite Park snacks, please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
