Can you use rider switch in this scenario? I don't want to ride Speedway Cars but my 2 children (6&3) both want to and need an adult seated next to them. Could my husband ride with daughter while I watch son and then come get son and ride with him?

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jennifer!

Last June my wife and I had the opportunity to use Disney’s Rider Switch program for the first time and it was so convenient! I’m happy to tell you that the Tomorrowland Speedway does indeed offer Rider Switch for Guests in your party who can’t or don’t want to board the attraction.

To utilize Rider Switch, approach the greeting Cast Member with your entire party. At least one adult member of your party and the Guests who are not riding will be issued a Ride Switch entitlement by the Cast Member and asked to wait in a designated area. Once your husband finishes the ride with one of your kiddos, he will then be able to take your other child on the ride without having to wait in the regular queue. It’s as simple as that!

Keep in mind that two back-to-back trips around the Tomorrowland Speedway might just make your husband an official race car driver. ;)
