Hi!!! Can we use the rider switch pass if our five year old is tall enough to ride but just doesn't want to? He hates roller coasters, but the rest of the family loves them. Thanks

     Hi Kimberly,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

My little guy is 5 now too and he’s been tall enough to ride roller coasters like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train since he was 2. Although he loves any ride that spins (unlike his mama), I learned the hard way that just because he may be tall enough to ride a roller coaster, doesn’t mean that he WANTS to… again, unlike his mama!

The good news is that Rider Switch is definitely still available to you and your family, even if your son is tall enough to experience an attraction where this service is available. We use it all the time when we visit Walt Disney World Resort with our son, even though he now meets the minimum height requirement for every Walt Disney World Resort attraction.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
