Hi, how is rider swap working since the implementation of the new fast pass plus?

Hi Jean!  I was recently at Walt Disney World using the new FastPass+ and I was able to use the Rider Switch with no problem.  It pretty much works the same as when you had the legacy FastPass.  Your whole party will go up to the Cast Member at the entrance of the attraction and ask for a Rider Switch Pass.  If you have a FastPass+ for that attraction the people who will be riding first will scan their bands and enter using the FastPass+ line.  If you do not have a FastPass+ for that particular attraction they may enter using the Stand By line.  After they get off of the attraction, the person that waited and two other people are allowed in the attraction using the FastPass+ line.  You must present the Rider Switch Pass to the Cast Member at the entrance of the attraction, so make sure you hold on to it.  That's it!  It is still a very simple and easy to use process.  I just love the Rider Switch Passes!

    Have a great vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
