Are ride-on roller suitcases allowed into the parks? The prohibited list says suitcases less than 24x15x18 are allowed, but also says "towing" is not allowed. Would this be allowed if pushed, but not towed? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014KYGQZY

    Hiya Dennis!

Welcome to planDisney! Visiting Walt Disney World Resort with little ones is one of my favorite things to do. However, as you may agree, their little legs just can't handle the tremendous amount of walking that occurs on a regular day in the Parks. This is why I am a strong supporter of strollers for kids for as long as possible when in Walt Disney World. My 6-year-old never rides a stroller at home but in the Parks, it is a must.

I looked at the Trunki Ride-On Kids Suitcase that you linked to in your answer and I love how adorable it is. My kids would have loved using this in the airport as we maneuvered our way through the terminals. However, according to the Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules, this lovely suitcase will not be allowed in the Parks. It is a trailer-like object that is pulled or pushed by a person and if the child were to "scoot" themselves along on it then it would fall under the section regarding the ban of recreational devices such as scooters and bicycles. In addition, there would be no place to put this suitcase when riding attractions as there is stroller parking but no ride-on roller suitcase parking. Imagine the heartbreak of having this suitcase, lost or damaged while in the Parks! If you anticipate having to bring this suitcase with you as it is a travel day I would suggest that you rent a locker and store it safely inside and use an acceptable stroller instead. Locker rentals are available at each of the four main Theme Parks and both water parks and they can be accessed all day long for a one-time charge. On my last two trips to the Parks, I rented a stroller from Walt Disney World Resort for my daughter with no issue. There is a multi-day option and a single-day option at a very reasonable cost and it was perfect for my situation. I didn't want to travel on the plane with one and I wanted something just to utilize in the Parks. I also did not want to fold anything when riding on the complimentary bus transportation. It met the needs of the day and my daughter was grateful for it.

I hope this helps and if you have any more questions please feel free to let me know! My planDisney buddy Elizabeth has a great video about stroller rental that I am linking below. I think it will be a good resource for you!

    Happy Planning!
