Hi Nicole! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh boy! Just one more day until you arrive for a magical
Walt Disney World stay! Being a
Florida resident, I'm sure it is great being just a hop, skip, and jump away from the magic. Let's dive into your question and help you get set for an unforgettable trip.
I have great news for you, Nicole! You can utilize
Disney transportation throughout your visit, even if you are not staying at a Disney Resort hotel. For example, if you are at the Magic Kingdom and want to park hop to Disney's Hollywood Studios, you can take a Disney bus to get to your destination. If you want to visit a specific resort for a dining reservation, you can use any mode of transportation that will take you there. This will include the monorail,
Disney Skyliner, and water transportation. One thing you will not be able to do is park at a Disney Resort hotel and take one of these modes of transportation to the parks. Security at the hotels will not allow you to park there without a resort or dining reservation. Once you arrive at the parks, you can then use any of these transportation options.
One of my favorite ways to travel around Walt Disney World is by hopping on the Disney Skyliner. These gondolas will take you between two different parks along with numerous Disney Resort hotels. You can hop on near the entrance to the International Gateway at EPCOT and head over to Disney's Riviera Resort or stay on until you arrive at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. There are some fantastic dining options at each of these resorts, including
Sebastian's Bistro. This family-style meal is one of the more flavorful meals you will have during your stay!
Nicole, I hope this information helps you plan for your arrival tomorrow. Have a magical stay!
See ya real soon!
