Hello, can you use the ride switch option on a ride you have a fast pass for? Thanks,

    Heigh-Ho Michelle!

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  The short answer to your question is yes. Now comes the long answer. If Guests in your party don’t want to board an attraction or don't meet the height requirement, then you can use the Rider Switch service. One adult can wait with the non-rider while the rest of the party experiences the attraction. The waiting adult can then board the attraction without having to wait in the regular line again when another adult in the party returns to supervise the child or children who do not ride.

In order to use Rider Switch with FastPass+ selections, those in the party riding the attraction first would need to reserve a FastPass+ selection using My Disney Experience. You can ask for a Rider Switch pass at the FastPass+ entrance. The waiting adult would not need a FastPass+ reservation to ride afterwards, just the Rider Switch Pass. This came in handy when I would wait with my toddler, and we would use our own FastPass+ reservation on an attraction she was able to ride while her older sisters went on an attraction with their dad. We had minimal waiting and meltdowns since everyone was experiencing their own magic.

If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Have a fantastical vacation!
